Dr. Andy Woods – Chairman of the Board
Andy became a Christian at the age of 16. He graduated with High Honors earning two Baccalaureate Degrees in Business Administration and Political Science (University of Redlands, CA.), and obtained a Juris Doctorate (Whittier Law School, CA), practiced law, taught Business and Law and related courses (Citrus Community College, CA) and served as Interim Pastor of Rivera First Baptist Church in Pico Rivera, CA (1996-1998).
In 1998, he began taking courses at Chafer and Talbot Theological Seminaries. He earned a Master of Theology degree, with High Honors (2002), and a Doctor of Philosophy in Bible Exposition (2009) at Dallas Theological Seminary. In 2005 and 2009, he received the Donald K. Campbell Award for Excellence in Bible Exposition, at Dallas Theological Seminary.
Formerly a professor of Bible and theology at the College of Biblical Studies, Andy now serves as president of Chafer Theological Seminary and senior pastor of Sugar Land Bible Church. Andy has contributed to numerous theological journals and Christian books and has spoken on a variety of topics at Christian conferences.
Andy and his wife, Anne, have one daughter. They reside in the Houston, TX area.
Dr. Thomas Ice – Executive Director
Dr. Ice is Executive Director of The Pre-Trib Research Center. He founded The Center in 1994 with Dr. Tim LaHaye to research, teach, and defend the pre-tribulational rapture and related Bible prophecy doctrines.
Dr. Ice has co-authored over 30 books, written hundreds of articles, and is a frequent conference speaker. He has served as a pastor for 15 years. Dr. Ice has a B.A. from Howard Payne University, a Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary, a Ph.D. from Tyndale Theological Seminary, and has done Doctoral work at The University of Wales in Church History. Dr. Ice and his wife, Janice, live in Godfrey, IL.
Dr. Robert Dean
Dr. Robert L. Dean, Jr. is pastor of West Houston Bible Church in Houston, Texas. Dr. Dean is a much sought after Bible teacher both in the United States and overseas. He has taught as adjunct professor at Faith Evangelical Seminary and the College of Biblical Studies in Houston. He is now an adjunct professor at Chafer Theological Seminary and also serves on the Governing Boards for Chafer Theological Seminary and the Pre-Trib Research Center.
Dr. Dean trained for the ministry at Dallas Theological Seminary where he earned a Th.M. in Hebrew and Old Testament Studies and later returned to pursue a Ph.D. in theological studies with an emphasis in Historical Theology. He also earned an M.A. in Philosophy from the University of St. Thomas (1987) and a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degree from Faith Evangelical Seminary (2002). In 1988 he was recognized as an Outstanding Young Man of America, and in 1989 was listed in the Who's Who in American Christian Leadership.
Dr. Mark Hitchcock
Mark Hitchcock graduated from law school in 1984 and worked for a judge at the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals for four years. After a clear call to full-time ministry, Mark attended Dallas Theological Seminary, graduating in 1991. Since that time he has served as senior pastor of Faith Bible Church in Edmond, Oklahoma. He completed his Ph.D. at Dallas Theological Seminary in 2005 and serves as an Associate Professor of Bible Exposition at DTS.
He has authored over thirty books related to end-time Bible prophecy.
Mark and his wife Cheryl live in Edmond, Oklahoma. They have two sons, Justin (married to Natalee) and Samuel (married to Ellen), and two grandchildren.
Dr. Randall Price
Dr. J. Randall Price received his master’s degree (Th.M.) from Dallas Theological Seminary in Old Testament and Semitic Languages and his doctorate (Ph.D.) from the University of Texas at Austin in Middle Eastern Studies with a concentration in Jewish studies and biblical archaeology. He has also done graduate work in Semitic languages and archaeology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
He is Distinguished Research Professor of Biblical and Judaic Studies in the Rawlings School of Divinity at Liberty University where he teaches in the Ph.D. program. He is also Adjunct Professor of Biblical Archaeology at Veritas International University (San Diego, California). He was Director of Excavations on the Qumran Plateau (site of the Dead Sea Scroll community) from 2002–2012 and co-director of Operation Scroll since 2017.
In 1993 he founded World of the Bible Ministries, Inc., focusing on the past, present, and prophetic world of the Bible. He also directs World of the Bible Tours and has made 107 trips to Israel.
Dr. Price is a member of the American Schools of Oriental Research (ASOR), the Near East Archaeological Society (NEAS), the Society of Biblical Literature (SBL), the Evangelical Theological Society (ETS), the Institute of Biblical Research (IBR) and the Tyndale House Fellowship.
He also serves on the boards of the Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry, the Pre-Trib Research Center, and is on the Board of Reference of the Associates of Biblical Research. He is the author or co-author of 40 books and publications and numerous films.
He and his wife Beverlee (married for 43 years) have five children and ten grandchildren.
Dr. Mike Vlach
Dr. Michael Vlach has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a Master of Divinity degree from The Master’s Seminary, and a PhD in Systematic Theology from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Vlach was awarded the 2008 Franz Delitzsch Prize for his dissertation, “The Church as a Replacement of Israel: An Analysis of Supersessionism.”
Dr. Vlach taught at The Master’s Seminary for fifteen years where he served as Professor of Theology. While there he was Managing Editor of The Master’s Seminary Journal for nine years. Vlach also taught Philosophy and World Religions at Southeast Community College in Lincoln, Nebraska.
A regular conference speaker, Dr. Vlach has appeared on The History Channel. He is most known for his books, Has the Church Replaced Israel: A Theological Evaluation (B&H), and He Will Reign Forever: A Biblical Theology of the Kingdom of God (Lampion). Vlach also has contributed to several multi-author works.
