Debate on the Date of the Book of Revelation
Dr. Mark Hitchcock and Mr. Hank Hanegraaff debate the date of the Book of Revelation. The debate took place on December 10, 2007 at the annual Pre-Trib Study Group meeting in Dallas, TX. Dr. Hichcock argued for the A.D. 95 date. Mr. Hanegraaff argued for the A.D. 65 date. While the A.D. 95 date does not impact the futurist interpretive approach of Dr. Hitchcock's view, Mr. Hanegraaff’s preterist view requires an A.D. 65 date or his view of Revelation is rendered impossible.
The debate lasted for 3 hours and 20 minutes. A special thanks to John Ankerberg and his film crew for filming the event.
